چکیده
Since the beginning of civilisation, humans have used land. As population grew, so did demand for land, which resulted in using land resources, referred to as "land use." In India, use planning has become essential is scarce. Due fast urbanisation, competition multiple uses exists, and severe shifts been recorded, necessitating a thorough land-use procedure. Therefore, this paper focuses on use, history at national (India) international levels, selection criteria based comments views given by various authors examine its effectiveness.The research seeks determine how what extent process effective. The work executed listing four main sub-criteria compiled through literature sources. expert questionnaire survey was conducted analysed with help AHP calculating weights each criterion pairwise comparison matrix understand significance level planning. Some solutions dimensions allocation also framed. broader terms, paper's findings highlight past present systems process, effectiveness, unachieved goals provide us set that can act basis systematic India.
